The biggest momo of India cooked at Jacky’s Chinese Restaurant in Delhi

New Delhi, 25th March 2019, The biggest momo of India (weight: approx 80 kgs) was prepared at Jacky’s Chinese Restaurant, Vasant Square Mall. Vasant Kunj, New Delhi targeting for Limca Book of Records. The event was witnessed by food bloggers and journalists along with other guests. The most interesting part is the ingredients used to make such a massive momo which included Chicken Keema 25 kgs, chopped onion 21 kgs, refined floor 27 kgs, chopped coriander 1.23 kg, Spring onion 1 kg, Salt 1 kg, ginger garlic paste 800 gms, Soya Sauce 1 lt and aromat seasoning 500 gms. The size of the momo is approx 5 feet in diameter and took 3 hrs to get it prepared. Once the momo was prepared, it was cut into pieces to serve.

The complete team including the chef and the owner of restaurant was working for last 15 days to get it possible. The customized steamer setup was prepared to steam such a huge momo. The size of the specially built steamer for the event is 5ft in diameter & height is 3 feet and weights aprox 45 kgs. The steamer is made of steel sheets and is put on two big gas burners to boil the water.
